Stanza Mare Beach Front - Punta Cana

The room was super clean and really cozy, but it definitely needs an update. The patio door was a pain to close. I had a little leak from upstairs, but Romeo from the office came quickly to help out, so that was nice. I felt secure with the guards around, and the vibe was peaceful. Can't complain much about the basic setup, just wish the space was a bit fresher!

The beach was disappointing. It had trash and numerous vendors, impacting our ability to relax. Dealing with mosquitoes was a constant nuisance .

I loved hanging out by the huge pool, and the poolside bar was such a great touch. The private beach and sun loungers made for perfect relaxation spots. It was a bit annoying that there was a charge for extra cleaning, but overall, it was an awesome week away 🌴

The location of the Stanza Mare is fantastic. I loved that the beach was just steps away. The pool area is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, especially Yaneiry in the office who was always ready to assist with any questions. There were several issues that dampened our experience. The air conditioning in our main bedroom stopped working midway through our stay, and despite the HVAC team coming to fix it, it remained inefficient. Only the bedrooms had A/C, leaving the living area unbearably warm. We struggled with the heat, and I fear that if we had visited during the summer months, it would have been a miserable experience. We were not informed beforehand that we'd have to pay for our electricity, which came as a surprise when we were charged an additional fee. Adding to this, there were numerous mosquitoes, and we all ended up with multiple bites . I suggest bringing bug repellent if you plan to stay here.

This hotel has a perfect location that's easily walkable to the Oh Canada eh Dinner show, features fantastic food, and is staffed by really kind and welcoming personnel.

The public beach next door isn't exactly pristine, often littered and impacted by sargassum, which might be a dealbreaker for those expecting perfect waters.
